NGS ProLab is a program to recognize NGS service providers as professionals who are proficient at running Twist NGS Target Enrichment (TE) Panels and associated Library preparation tools and providing them with the designation of ‘Twist ProLab’. The service provider will need to demonstrate their capabilities at achieving Twist Bioscience’s sequencing performance specifications associated with the Twist Comprehensive Exome Panel, Product Code 102031.

 

 

What Is The Twist ProLab Program?

The Twist NGS ProLab Certificate Program is designed to promote and ensure the highest data quality and best practices at fee-for-service labs leveraging Twist Target Enrichment and Library Preparation tools.

The Twist NGS ProLab Certificate Program delivers a unique set of advantages for laboratories demonstrating compliance with the high standard of Twist Target Enrichment and Library preparation tools, as well providing confidence to researchers who need a lab they can trust to support their investigations.

Who Is Eligible?

Any NGS service provider preparing sequencing libraries via TE methods and running those sequencing libraries on a next generation sequencer.

How Do You Become A Twist ProLab?

Generate sequencing libraries using Twist library preparation reagents:
Either Mechanical or Enzymatic Fragmentation and either Fast Hybridization or standard Hybridization reagents

  • 101896; Twist EF Library Prep + UDIs and Fast Hyb, 16x2 Reactions

  • 101897; Twist EF Library Prep + UDIs and Standard Hyb, 16x2 Reactions

  •  101898; Twist MF Library Prep + UDIs and Fast Hyb, 16x2 Reactions

  • 101899; Twist MF Library Prep + UDIs and Standard Hyb, 16x2 Reactions


Generate sequencing data from 2x8 samples (16 samples in an 8 plex per reaction)

  • 102031; Twist Comprehensive Exome Panel, 2 reactions


The Twist Comprehensive Core Exome data must reach the below metrics at 20x coverage for recognized status through the Twist ProLab to be granted:

  • 90–95% on target*

  • Fold 80 < 1.5

  • 5% duplication rate*
    *Dependent on sequencing platform and model
