San Francisco, CA – July 11, 2017 – Quintara Biosciences, a leader in DNA sequencing and molecular biology, today announced a new partnership with Twist Bioscience, a company accelerating science and innovation through rapid, high-quality DNA synthesis, to launch two new services: qBlock Gene Fragments and qGene DNA cloning. This partnership leverages the high throughput and high accurate oligonucleotide synthesis from Twist Bioscience’s silicon chip-based DNA synthesis platform with the cloning and sequencing strengths of Quintara Biosciences to deliver gene fragments at industry-leading quality, pricing and turnaround time.

Quintara Biosciences’ new qBlock Gene Fragment services, built by Twist Bioscience, will be available at just 9¢ per base pair (bp) for any gene fragment between 300 and 1800 bp, with no minimum order amount. qBlock can also be bundled with qGene DNA Cloning services, powered by Twist Bioscience and made by Quintara, for sequence verified clonal constructs that can be immediately used in most research projects.
