This seminar explores recent progress toward a self-reproducing molecular system based on in vitro DNA replication, transcription, and translation. Alongside the latest results, the talk will share practical tips for cell-free research, including efficient factor expression in the E. coli PURE system, strategies for generating homogeneous RNA, and a new method to synthesize 21 unmodified tRNAs simultaneously.
