Therapeutic antibodies are used mostly in oncology and auto-immune diseases, but they are not used yet in gynaecology and endocrinology, where the absence of suitable markers for reproductive aging in women is a growing problem as families start at later parental ages. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) glycosylation is a predicator of fertility treatment success. GlycoFormA Ltd. developed an anti-FSH antibody specific of a deglycosylated FSH isoform. Twist Bioscience technology was used to generate the FSH constructs which were used to validate the prediction in its wet-lab facility.
