That was George Church's answer to Stephen Colbert in 2012 on an episode of The Colbert Report. As the late-night television host was putting down a copy of his guest's book Regenesis, he asked Church what else could be stored on DNA besides genetic information from living things. Church pulled a vial from his jacket pocket holding a fortune cookie-shaped paper tab that he handed to Colbert.
