Engineering and Analysis of Protein Biosensor Components
Abstract
This thesis developed new technologies to accelerate the design of protein-based biosensors capable of detecting small molecules and medical targets. High-throughput methods were used to generate and identify proteins that bind drugs and disease markers. Biosensor components were also engineered to improve sensitivity and stability. These advances contribute to faster, more reliable biosensors for healthcare, diagnostics, and biotechnology.
