Twist independently evaluated Claude's AI-designed protein binders

Anthropic used Claude to autonomously design novel protein binders across a broad range of targets, then selected Twist as an independent external evaluator to produce and experimentally test them. In less than three weeks, Twist independently evaluated 1,260 protein binders across 15 targets, helping answer the critical question at the intersection of AI and biology: do these digital designs actually work in the physical world?
